Scope of application of ultrasonic cleaning machine:
- Stationery: Mainly wash pens and dip pen tips in water; please be careful with old pens, as the adhesive may fall off or the material may become brittle.
- Daily necessities: glasses, watches, combs, jewelry, brushes, etc., which may be contaminated with a lot of sebum and dust, can be washed as long as the material itself is waterproof or non-absorbent. For contact lenses, please consult an optical shop or ophthalmologist.
Detergent recommendations:
- If you want to clean Fountain Pen Ink, you can use clean water or pen cleaning fluid. It is recommended to use RK and JH (discontinued). Available at Jas.
- If you want to clean the sebum attached, you can use water-based shampoo or facial cleanser (the texture can be easily washed away). A few drops can strengthen the cleaning.
(I think water-based shampoo or facial cleanser, because it cleans sebum, is relatively mild and easy to rinse, so it can be used mindlessly to avoid damaging the machine and the items to be cleaned.)
How to use:(It is recommended to use a storage basket. The cleaning method can be changed freely. It is not absolute and is for reference only)
- For fountain pens, after use, take the grip part (that is, the part that remains after turning off the pen cap and unplugging the converter) directly under the faucet to rinse it. After most of the ink is washed away, put it into the machine. Shake; after shaking, pour away the dirty water and repeat the action several times until the ink color no longer appears. For the last time, it is recommended to use drinking water to avoid contamination by accidentally putting the pen tip into the ink bottle when filling ink.
- For daily necessities, put the items directly into the machine, add a few drops of cleaning fluid and then turn on the machine. Repeat the same process several times until dirt no longer appears.
Important: Although the inner tank of the machine is mostly made of 304 stainless steel, it is still recommended to slightly clean the inner tank and filter basket after each use to prevent dirt from staining or adhering to it over time! Every small move can extend the life of the machine!
