Ernest Vintage is a retro formula with neutral pH, not easy to clog, smooth and easy to write on, and can be used in celluloid pens.

The Australian Shepherd in the series of packaging labels is named Ernest, who is the author's most trustworthy helper. It is named after Hemingway, the author's favorite writer, and one of its colors is the series' namesake color.
