Tongyeong, located in South Gyeongsang Province, was an important port during the Joseon Dynasty and one of the main naval bases of the North Korean fleet. We intend to express the tenacity of the turtle ships that blocked the Japanese fleet when Japan invaded Korea in 1592.

"Korean Turtle Ship Ink" is a gray ink whose design is inspired by the iron armor on the top of a turtle ship.

It has an achromatic tone but is blue around the edges, while the areas where the ink spreads out are a color with a subtle allure, showing a double shade of red tones.
