Gangneung Dragon Boat Festival, designated as an intangible cultural heritage and a national intangible cultural property by UNESCO, is held every year. Dragon Boat Festival is one of the four major traditional festivals in Korea, along with Lunar New Year (Seol-lal), Chu-seok (Chuseok) and Winter Solstice (Dong-ji), and is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.

"Duan" means 'beginning' or 'starting point', and 'noon' refers to the fifth day of the month.

The "Dragon Boat Festival" ink is mint color, and we aimed to express the inspiration drawn from the traditional dress and noble mask dance drama "Guanwai", which is one of the performing arts during the Dragon Boat Festival.

The ink is clear and transparent, just like the outer garments worn by the nobles of the Joseon Dynasty. When you first apply it, you can feel the warm color and vibrancy it brings when it dries down from a mint color with an intense blue color. Since the ink is light, we recommend using it with a thick nib fountain pen.
